|Samson's Life Project

Project is postponed until further notice. Currently, Samson's project is set to take place sometime in early July of 2019.
Samson is planning his Life Project in order to attain his Life rank! His project will be done at the Scout Hut on May 25, 2019, from 8:00am to 1:00pm. His project will be open to senior scouts and all adults. Volunteers will be working to construct a cement foundation for the entrance gate and will be helping to move the firewood in the fire ring back to the firewood cement foundation. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and bring any work gloves, safety glasses, and water containers. Breakfast, lunch, and water are provided.

Let's Get Off Your Couch and Go Hiking!

In the spirit of personal fitness, Lishen is inviting all scouts to join him on a hike on Eaton Canyon Trail which will take place on June 2, 2019 from 6:30am to 4:00pm. The meet-up on the day of the event will be at the Scout Hut at 6:00am. As a note to all younger scouts, this short 5 mile roundtrip hike can help you sign off book requirement(s) as well, if you need the extra incentive. Please come dressed in Class B attire and be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and bring your hiking hat. If you are a Cub Scout and would like to attend, you must be accompanied by a parent. Permission Papers will be due on May 18, 2019. Please contact Lishen Lin for more information.
Warren Wang's Eagle Project

Warren is going for the rank of Eagle. His Eagle Project will be held on May 26, 2019 from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the Living Water Loving Mission.
He needs your help to restore the main all-purpose room, which will involve patching holes, painting, and more. Neglected plant beds can also be found outside in the parking lot, so some gardening will also need to be done. Please come dressed in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Permission Papers will be due on May 18, 2019. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and water are provided. At the current time, Warren is asking for scout volunteers ages 13 and older; all adults are invited! 626 Golden Streets

Made available to the public by Metro, 626 Golden Streets is an event open to people of all ages where they can ride walk, run, bike, and enjoy all the activity hubs available. Open to all boy scouts, cub scouts, girl scouts, and adults, this event takes place on May 19, 2019 and will last from 8:00AM to 2:00PM. We will take this opportunity to have a 10-mile roundtrip bike ride. Permission Papers and a $5 fee will be due on May 4. A bike check will be held the day before, on May 18. Class B attire is mandatory, and please remember to bring your bike, helmet, sunscreen, and plenty of water (lunch will be provided). Please contact Vincent Huynh or Kyle for more information.
Zitong's Eagle Project

Zitong will be holding his Eagle Project at the Whittier Narrows Nature Center from May 4-5, 2019, from 8:00am to 4:00pm on both days.
His project will consist of cleaning and repainting the outside of the museum building, so please dress with clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Permission papers will be due on April 20th, 2019. Currently, he is only requesting that parents and only boy scouts over the age of 13 to come help. As per usual, Zitong will have Breakfast and Lunch accommodations. Please contact Zitong for more information.
