A Cub Scout learns the basics of Scouting by spending time together in small groups with shared experiences.
They are given opportunities to participate in events with older Scouting America youth to become familiar with activities they will soon experience on a regular basis.
Some of the events that Cub Scouts participate in include hiking, camping, first aid, and activities that older Scouts participate in.
